Delhi was day 1 of our 'Intrepid' India Tour of the Golden Triangle.

Visiting Old Delhi with our tour guide Lavine...

- Sikh mosque
- Charity for poor
- Helped roll out patties
- Jama Masjid Mosque
- Largest mosque in India
- Holds up to 30,000 people
- Built by Emperor Shah Jehan (same man who built the Taj Mahal)
- Saw Delhi Red Fort from a distance (currently not open to the public)
- Jumped into a rickshaw to visit the spice market

Travelling to Delhi
- Japan Airlines (JAL) from Tokyo to Delhi
- Day 1 of tour: Drove to Agra in the afternoon after visiting Old Delhi

Where we stayed
- Overnight stop in Delhi: Hotel Sunstar Grand - Definitely NOT recommended
- Agra: Checked in to the 'Raj Mahal' Hotel for 2 nights (recommended)
